In this MWC 2018, we can see some of the most important cell phones of the year, such as Samsung Galaxy S9 or Xiaomi Mi 7.
But the brands should also look beyond and it is logical that they are already working on new models by the end of the year. This is the case of HMD, the company that creates the current Nokia handsets, which apparently already has a terminal prototype that will be released later this year.
Nokia 10 with five rear cameras
Last year, it was normal to see mobile phones with three cameras two behind and one in front. This year we will see many with four cameras two front and two back, and maybe even one with five in total if the rumors of Huawei P11 are confirmed.
What we did not expect was that a company was working on a model with 5 cameras behind, as it looks like Nokia is doing.
The Nokia 10, of which a design scheme was also filtered, has a circular element in the rear area reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia 1020, 7-hole . Five of them would be occupied by different photographic sensors and the other two by two LED flash.
Just below them, there is an eighth element that would be the fingerprint sensor, which seems to be very low, although it should be noted that this is a design scheme and not a manufacturing plan. In fact, in the image it looks like the screen would have a 16: 9 ratio (for the wide / high ratio), when it actually looks like it will mount a 18: 9.
The processor it will use will be the new Snapdragon 845 and will go into production in the spring and it will be marketed sometime in the second half of this year, although such long-term problems may arise. Maybe we'll see that presented at the IFA in Berlin at the end of the summer.
We will have to wait a little while to see if the concept with which we illustrate the article, totally fictitious but inspired by the filtered scheme, resembles the final device.
