New control option for offensive content from Instagram
Popular social media app Instagram has started offering users a new option to view sensitive content.
Facebook has activated a new feature for Instagram users. Covering users over the age of 18, the function will now allow automatic checking of sensitive content on the platform.
Desiring people to make Instagram the experience they want , Facebook initiated this request with tools such as turning off comments and restricting someone from interacting with you on Instagram. With the latest innovation, the platform has become more customizable.
Instagram opens new Sensitive Content Control option to iOS users
Allowing its users to choose whether they want to see more or less sensitive content , Instagram comes up with a feature called Sensitive Content Control. This feature is available in the app’s Settings window, on the Account > Sensitive Content Control page. The options available to users are:
- Allow : You can view all photos and videos that may be offensive or offensive.
- Border (Default) : You may see some photos and videos that may be offensive or offensive.
- Limit Even More : You may see fewer photos and videos that might be offensive or offensive.
Instagram later included the Allow only option among the above options . The feature, which is currently gradually distributed to iOS users, will soon be available to everyone, including Android and web version.
Of course, profiles under the age of 18 will be able to benefit from this feature. Minors will continue to be subject to restrictions on photos and videos. What do you think about this Instagram innovation? Do not forget to share your ideas with us.
